Reggae on the River

July 17 and 18, 2010

Reggae on the River takes place every July in the Red Woods near Garberville, California. We really enjoyed the Reggae festival. This was unfortunately a family event and very much controlled. However, what was lacking was the tea bagger angry white people who seem to never find anything to be happy about. Everyone was friendly and giving. Don't get me wrong the music was great but it was the people who made this event so enjoyable.

We had a camp site that was a five minute walk from the festival. A couple of our neighbors arrived in vintage camping vehicles. However, we are not ready to make the trade. We still prefer traveling by motor home! Click here if you want to visit Reggae on the Rivers web site.

In these pictures we are hiking in the avenue of the giants and the Eel river where the festival takes place.
